Jackson, Everett Gee (1900-1995).


Martin Jacob Jackson (1871-1955) was a very versatile artist. Born in Newburgh, NY, he studied at Cooper Union; the National Academy of Design with E.M. Ward; in Brussels; Antwerp; with Comelli in London; and with Edel in Paris. 

William Franklin Jackson was an accomplished California artist known for his painted views of poppy fields. Jackson was born in 1850 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and at the age of twelve he and his family headed west to California.

Joiner, Harvey (1852-1932).

Born in Oslo, Norway on Oct. 7, 1860 Christian Jorgensen moved to San Francisco with his mother in 1870.  He showed artistic promise at an early age, and when the School of Design opened in 1874, he was among the first to enroll. 

Born in Detroit, Michigan on October 15, 1864, Charles Judson became an impressionist painter who settled in northern California. He was raised and educated in Kansas City. In 1888, he spent two years in Europe, studying in Munich and Paris. Returning to the United States, he settled in San Francisco.
