Painter, muralist. Born in Potenza, Italy on April 26, 1903.

Daraio began art studies in Italy and in NYC at the Mechanics' Institute before settling in Los Angeles about 1925. He was active in the local art scene into the 1960s. He died in Palm Springs, CA on Aug. 18, 1993.

His work includes landscapes, decorative murals, and portraits.
