ARTIST WORLD RECORD

Watercolorist, printmaker, sculptor, muralist.

Born on Dec. 29, 1906 in Marian, IA. Haines studied at the Minneapolis School of Art and later taught there.

In the early 1940s he moved to southern California and established a studio-home in Santa Monica.

From 1945-54 he taught at Chouinard Art Institute and from 1954-74 at Otis Art Institute.

He died in Los Angeles on Oct. 9, 1984.
