Born in Cincinnati, OH on Sept. 4, 1878.

Tauszky studied in NYC at the ASL and continued at Academie Julian in Paris under Laurens and Constant. He was well known in the East in 1922 when he moved to Los Angeles.

He then appears to have divided his time between the East and West Coasts.

Tauszky died in Pasadena, CA on Feb. 26, 1972.

Member: Salmagundi Club; Conn. Academy of FA; Allied AA; Laguna Beach AA; Painters & Sculptors of LA; Pasadena Society of Artists; Grand Central Art Guild.

Exhibited: Southby and Stendahl Galleries, LA; Grand Central Galleries, NY.

Awards: Sargent prize, Pasadena Art Inst., 1928; first prize, Santa Ana, 1928; hon mention, Allied AA, 1929; second prize, Civic Art exhibition, Pasadena, 1937.

Works held: Denver Art Museum; Wingate School, NYC. AAA 1905-33; Mal; Ben; WWAA 1936-41; SCA; AAW.
